Students will learn under the talent and guidance of Disney Newsie’s original cast member Ben Fankhauser, and recent Broadway performers Samantha Williams & Kelly Belarmino from Pirates!. Thanks to grants from the Alabama Council on the Arts, Ben May Foundation, and Hargrove Foundation, this workshop is only $50 for students! ($200 value)

  • Ben Fankhauser

    Ben Fankhauser made his Broadway debut as Davey in the original cast of Disney’s Newsies (Also on Disney+). Off-Broadway: Mack & Mabel, Dear World (City Center Encores!), Saturday Night, Bar Mitzvah Boy, A Commercial Jingle For Regina Comet (co-author) 1st. National Tours: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Spring Awakening. Regional Theatre: Flamingo Kid (Hartford Stage), I Hate Hamlet (Bucks County Playhouse), The Secret Of My Success (Houston’s TUTS), A.D. 16 (Olney Theatre Center), An American In Paris (Music Theater Wichita), Big River, Something Rotten, Fiddler On The Roof (Sacramento Music Circus), She Loves Me (Gulfshore Playhouse). TV/Film credits include: FBI: Most Wanted, The Deuce, Indoor Boys. Ben is a Cleveland native and holds a B.F.A from Ithaca College. @PlzNfankU

  • Samantha Williams

    Samantha Williams is a NY based artist. Broadway: Pirates of Penzance as ‘Mabel’, Caroline, Or Change as ‘Emmie’ (Grammy nomination), Dear Evan Hansen as ‘Alana’. Other credits: Titanic at NY City Center as ‘Kate McGowan’, Dear World at NY City Center as ‘Nina’, Empire Records at the McCarter Theatre as ‘Gina’ (World Premiere), Life After at the Goodman Theatre as ‘Alice’ (World Premiere). 

  • Kelly Belarmino

    Kelly Belarmino is a NY based actor who most recently made her Broadway Debut in Pirates! The Penzance Musicalas a Stanley Daughter and Mabel understudy. Select regional credits include Jersey Boys (Swing) at Paper Mill Playhouse, Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812 (Natasha) at The ZACH, and The Sound of Music (Liesl) at The Lex. Kelly is a proud New Jersey native and Elon University alum where she earned her BFA in music theatre. She is represented by Henderson Hogan. @kellybelarmino_ kellybelarmino.com
